Shopping Tips
This section explains finding what you need, adding items to your cart, deleting
items from your cart, changing quantities, your subtotal, ordering your cart/checkout,
account registration, and order confirmation.
Finding What You Need
There are five ways to find products you want or need:
1. Shop by product category using the left side navigation menu.
2. Use the site search located at the top left hand side of your screen to
find a product in the store by entering a brand, model, name or specific Battery
Giant product code.
3. Click on a featured product photo or link.
4. Add an item to your cart using the Quick Order by Battery Giant product
code.
5. If you are a registered customer, duplicate or select items from a previous
order by entering in your order number.
Adding Items To Your Cart
You can add an item to your cart by entering in the Battery Giant code in the
quick order form or by selecting the "Add to Cart" button when
viewing an item through the store inventory.
Deleting Items From Your Cart
In order to delete an item from your cart, view your cart by clicking on "Shopping
Cart" on the top menu. Then you can either adjust the quantity of an item
or check an item and select "delete." Be sure to recalculate after
you make your changes.
Changing Quantities
In order to change a quantity of an item in your cart, view your cart by clicking
on "Shopping Cart" on the top menu. Then click in the quantity
box and adjust the quantity. Be sure to recalculate after you change the
quantity.
Your Subtotal
Your order subtotal will always appear to the right of the "Shopping Cart" link
in the top navigation menu.
Checking Out
After you have everything you want in your cart you're ready to checkout.
Account Registration
To register with us, you'll need to enter your shipping address, delivery information,
and contact information. Once you have registered, you will be able to:
· Place orders online.
· Save multiple shipping and billing addresses.
· Receive order and shipment confirmation emails.
· Track your orders online.
· View your order history.
· Duplicate previous order (clone an order).
If you do not have an account with us you'll have to register before you can
checkout.
Order Confirmation
After you order your cart, you will see a page confirming your order with the
option to save it as a custom list. When your order is processed, you will
receive an email confirming the delivery date and taxes.
